Last week we posted the Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren posters for RED, and then the Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich versions after that.  But there’s still two more, these featuring Mary-Louise Parker and Karl Urban.  I’m loving this ad campaign, even if it’s nothing revolutionary design-wise, it’s setting the right tone for the film.   If you didn’t see the official trailer for Summit Entertainment’s RED, we posted that HERE a few weeks back. The film is based on the DC/Wildstorm comic book series by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner (who will both be at San Diego Comic-Con). The movie also stars Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Richard Dreyfuss, Julian McMahon, James Remar, Brian Cox, and the legendary Ernest Borgnine. It’s directed by Robert Schwentke, who is responsible for a great German serial killer mystery called TATTOO. Be looking for RED to hit theaters ctober 15, 2010.

And if you’re up for a fun listening experience, check out last week’s Bigfanboy Livecast, featuring a return appearance of RED co-creator Cully Hamner, which can be found HERE (right-click and save the MP3 or listen streaming, Cully comes in about 6 minutes into the show). During the show Cully talks about his set visit, interaction with Bruce Willis, and the somewhat melancholy disbanding of his longtime base of operations – Gaijin Studios. This episode also features my reviews of Robert Rodriguez and Nimrod Antal’s PREDATORS, and the new CGI-animated film DESPICABLE ME.

The Bigfanboy Livecast can be heard every Thursday night on Talkshoe, usually starting about 10:40pm Central Time… give or take a few minutes. We frequently have guests on the show from both the comic book industry and entertainment industry, and we’re always talking about movies and pop culture topics. You should add it to your iTunes!
