Is the Silver Samurai a robot?">

Almost two months ago, we got the first trailer for this summer’s THE WOLVERINE starring Hugh Jackman as the unstoppable Marvel mutant James “Logan” Howlett, and now we have the second full length trailer. The new trailer is more of an elaboration on the theme’s that we saw in the first one but doesn’t reveal too much more about the film. Yes, it appears that Logan will somehow find out what life is like when you no longer have the ability to heal instantly from any wounds, yes, it still appears that Logan will fall in love with a woman that the universe does not wish him to be with (Yukio, played by Rila Fukushima) and yes, there will be ninja’s.

While a lot of the trailer is just an expansion of the first one, it does show us some new stuff as well. First of all, there is more of the Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) flashback. This is definitely new footage for the film and not a rehash of X-MEN: THE LAST STAND. Another cool thing about this trailer is that it does finally reveal the full look for the Silver Samurai (Will Yun Lee) and while he looks big and powerful and a legitimate foe for Wolverine, it does pose a new question. Is the final version of the Silver Samurai a robot? Check out the trailer for yourself and let us know what you think.

In addition to the trailer, we have three new character posters for the film. The Silver Samurai was released a little while back, but the new ones for Viper and Yukio are brand new. I like that they are embracing the culture of the film’s setting and releasing the character posters in a classic, Japanese art style. Check those out below as well and be sure to click on them to see them bigger.

THE WOLVERINE is directed by James Mangold and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.

SYNOPSIS: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.

THE WOLVERINE is set to claw its way into 2D and 3D theaters on July 26, 2013.

Remember, once our allotment is used up, that’s it. NOTE – these passes do NOT guarantee you seats, you must arrive EARLY to get a good seat. Showing up an hour before showtime will most likely see you being turned away. Make sure you’re aware of this!

It’s been two years. Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) are happily living uneventful lives at home. Tattoos have been lasered off, files purged. The last they heard from disaster-magnet Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong), he’d been tossed into a Thai prison and, with him out of the way, the guys have very nearly recovered from their nights prowling the seamy side of Las Vegas in a roofie’d haze, and being kidnapped, shot at, and chased by drug- dealing mobsters in Bangkok. The only member of the Wolfpack who’s not content is Alan (Zach Galifianakis). Still lacking a sense of purpose, the group’s black sheep has ditched his meds and given in to his natural impulses in a big way-which, for Alan, means no boundaries, no filters and no judgment-until a personal crisis forces him to finally seek the help he needs. And who better than his three best friends to make sure he takes the first step. This time, there’s no bachelor party. No wedding. What could possibly go wrong? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off. One way or another…it all ends here.

Guillermo del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM is easily in the running to be one of the coolest films of 2013, especially for fans of genre films. The whole idea of giant robots versus giant monsters should play out really well with audiences, and everything we’ve seen so far looks pretty great. Warner Bros. has now release a new “main” trailer, which we imagine will be the last before release, and again, it looks incredibly solid. Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. Are you as excited for this one as we are?

PACIFIC RIM is directed by Guillermo del Toro and stars Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi, Idris Elba, Ron Perlman and Charlie Day.

SYNOPSIS: From acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro comes Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ sci-fi action adventure “Pacific Rim.” When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes, a washed up former pilot and an untested trainee who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

in 2009, director JJ Abrams rebooted STAR TREK in a big way, garnering new fans of the series and even angering some fans of the classic tales. Regardless of how people felt, it was very successful, and a sequel was naturally in the cards. That sequel is STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, and while mostly shrouded in mystery with its plot, it’s easily (for many) one of the most-anticipated movies of the year.

The story opens with Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and Leonard “Bones” McCoy (Karl Urban) fleeing from a primitive species on a strange planet, trying to avoid capture and certain death. At the same time, Sulu (John Cho) and Uhura (Zoe Saldana) are attempting to lower Spock (Zachary Quinto) into a nearly-erupting volcano, in hopes of saving this strange new civilization. In the process of all this, Kirk violates the Prime Directive, revealing Starfleet’s technology to a unfamiliar species without making proper first contact. As a result, Admiral Pike (Bruce Greenwood) takes command of the USS Enterprise away from Kirk, and Spock is reassigned to another vessel. Shortly after, a mysterious terrorist-like attack in a public record data center brings all of Starfleet’s top brass together for a meeting. In that meeting the men and woman are brutally attacked by a man named John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch), the same man believed responsible for the previous incident. Kirk gets permission to pursue Harrison with lethal force, regaining his ship and Spock on the crew in the process. But there’s more to this villain than anyone realizes, and secret agendas soon begin to reveal themselves.

As a sequel, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS is bigger and better in many ways than its 2009 predecessor. There’s more action, loads more special effects, and bigger scenarios all around. The dialogue is engaging and fast, and the audience is rarely given a chance to catch their breath before the next big moment on screen. All that said, there’s a few minor annoyances in the film as well, and certain things that will undoubtedly grate on the nerves of classic Trek fans. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto have found a definitive rhythm with their Kirk and Spock dynamic, and it’s safe to say it’s more fun and pleasant than William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy ever attempted. It’s also so different, some classic fans may feel it strays too much from the way they should behave, but ultimately it’s a storytelling choice that will likely prove beneficial with non-Trek enthusiasts. Zoe Saldana also gets some solid moments to show the strength of Uhura, stepping up on more than one occasion to get the job done where the boys might not be able to. Karl Urban did a great impression of DeForest Kelley in the 2009 film, but here he’s just the living embodiment of the man. The McCoy lines are back to back joys for hardcore fans, and the characterization of Bones is carried out much more fully than the previous outing allowed for. It’s also nice to see great glory moments for both Simon Pegg as Scotty and John Cho as Sulu. Scotty becomes an audience favorite almost from the onset, and there’s interesting plot points that give his character some great scenes. Cho as Sulu also gets some fun moments, even eluding to his eventual Captain status we saw play out in the classic film series. Being a fan of George Takei’s Captain Sulu, this was particularly pleasing to me. Perhaps the only regular cast member not getting much memorable screentime is Anton Yelchin as Chekov, though part of that may be due to his unexpected role in the story, and how it frequently removes him from the principal setting. Also watch for Bruce Greenwood as he makes the most of his few scenes, and transcends the likability he had in the last film.

Joining the cast this time are Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller. Cumberbatch has fun playing the mysterious John Harrison, and plays it so conflicted and confusing, the audience never really seems to piece together what’s coming next with him. It’s a definite improvement over the first movie’s villain played by Eric Bana, who while visually interesting never seemed to carry much weight as a baddie. Cumberbatch chews the scene, but respectfully, and really gives our heroes a force to be reckoned with. Alice Eve plays a character from the classic series, but in a whole new way. While she shows promise after her introduction, there’s not terribly much to her, other than a female interest for Kirk… I guess I wanted more there, but there’s a lot of story surrounding it. Peter Weller gets a welcome return to the big screen in a bigger role than we’ve seen him in for a while. From the moment he first shows up, you could hear the audience appreciation for a strong actor used too sparingly these days in Hollywood.

Abrams also shows just how impressive his filmmaking can be, particularly in the action scenes. There’s no holding back, and a lot of what we see is visually breathtaking and terribly expensive-looking, but man oh man does it impress. This film gives renewed confidence toward his next directing gig of the new STAR WARS movie, that’s for sure. I should also note as a 3D movie, this frequently works very well, and makes the most of the 3-D capability. Some films touted with that gimmick seem unnecessary, whereas this 3D experience is in your face and well thought out – I don’t normally enjoy 3-D, but here it was pleasing on many occasions. STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS is about 90% great and really satisfying. There’s 10% of it that’s at times goofy or just falls flat, but it’s safe to say the good far outweighs the bad. Being a fan of classic Trek, I understand how some fans can get frustrated, but I also find myself forgiving when the ride is so much fun.

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS is set to beam into 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 16, 2013.

Drax the Destroyer is….." href="http://bigfanboy.com/wp/?p=18032" target="_blank">cast as Drax the Destroyer in next year’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.

RIDDICK is directed by David Twohy and stars Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson.

SYNOPSIS: The latest chapter of the groundbreaking saga that began with 2000′s hit sci-fi film “Pitch Black” and 2004′s “The Chronicles of Riddick” reunites writer/director David Twohy (“A Perfect Getaway,” “The Fugitive”) and star Vin Diesel (the “Fast and Furious” franchise, “XXX”). Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy.

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy.

Riddick also sees the return of Karl Urban (“Star Trek,” “The Bourne Supremacy”) as Vaako and introduces to the series Jordi Molla (“Bad Boys II,” “Colombiana”) as Santana, the arrogant captain of the mercenary ship; Matt Nable (“Killer Elite”) as Boss Johns, a man looking for answers; Katee Sackhoff (TV’s “Battlestar Galactica”) as the Nordic mercenary Dahl; and Bokeem Woodbine (“Total Recall”) as bounty hunter Moss. Rounding out the cast are Dave Bautista (“The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption”), Conrad Pla (“Immortals”), Raoul Trujillo (“Apocalypto”), Nolan Funk (TV’s “Aliens in America”) and two-time Grammy Award-nominated singer Keri Hilson.

RIDDICK is set to hit 2D and IMAX theaters on September 6, 2013.

So with that in mind, I have compiled a list of 10 people / places / groups, etc. that I want to see in the upcoming show but before we delve into that, take a gander (yes I said gander) at the newly released 3-minute trailer for the series:

Pretty awesome stuff there, huh? Ok, I am going to go out on a limb and say this right now. J. August Richards is not playing Luke Cage. I have to credit the good folks over at io9 for this revelation. They have a very good article pointing many of the hidden secrets inside of the 30 second teaser that was shown during the season finale of Once Upon A Time. Their guess? Elvin Daryl Haliday (Rage), who in the comics, has ties to not only The Avengers but also The New Warriors. The image in the comic bumper before the teaser is a very strong indication that this is correct as I doubt that Marvel randomly pulls just any images for the bumpers.

Oh well, time will tell.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s take a look at 10 things we (well me at least) want to see in the show. Be sure to let us know which ones you agree with, hate or ===gasp=== missed in our list.

I think it is important to point out that at this point, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is interesting in that many people are still trying to figure out just exactly what kind of show it will be. Is it going to be an X-Files / Fringe / Warehouse 13 / NCIS type show that deals with super-powered people and things? No one is quite sure. Either way, it will most definitely fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

.

Honorable Mentions: The Runaways, Moon Knight and The Black Panther (he will get his own movie, this I am sure)

.

.

10. S.W.O.R.D.

I know what you are saying…. ENOUGH WITH THE ACRONYMS, but let’s face it, the world is already full of acryonyms. CIA, FBI, ATF, etc. What’s really cool about S.W.O.R.D. is actually three things. First, this is a division of S.H.I.E.L.D. that monitors extraterrestrial threats to Earth and let’s face it, after the events in THE AVENGERS, it only makes sense that we would see this division of S.H.I.E.L.D explored. Second, they were actually mentioned in the alternate ending for THOR. Yep, that’s right, Dr. Eric Selvig mentions both them and S.H.I.E.L.D in the same conversation. Last, but certainly not least, S.W.O.R.D. was created by none other than Joss Whedon. Yep, the very same Joss Whedon who directed the biggest superhero movie of all time not to mention the pilot episode for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. That being said, I would say that there is a good chance that we will see them mentioned, if not fully explored, in the series.

.

.

9. Agent Wendell Vaughn / Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.

Much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is modeled after the Ultimates line of comic books so with that in mind, it would be extremely interesting to see the introduction of a certain Agent whose name is Wendell Vaughn. For those unfamiliar with the comic book world, you might not realize that this is the name of one of Marvel’s premier cosmic superheroes, Quasar. While in the Ultimate comics, Vaughn has yet to become the cosmic hero with his mighty wristbands that help him control light, teleport and create energy constructs, this doesn’t mean that this could not be explored (at least in the latter episodes) especially with the cosmic side of the MCU being introduced in THOR, THE AVENGERS and next year’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY which is said to be set 95% in space.

While the cosmic aspect is exciting and fun, Agent Wendell Vaughn also serves another purpose. He oversees the top-secret Project Pegasus which is essentially Marvel’s version of Warehouse 13. If it is strange or unknown, it is probably stored here. For those eagle-eyed viewers out there, they will know that Project Pegasus has already popped up in the MCU in IRON MAN 2 (see the image above) as well as the after-credits scene in THOR and the opening scene of THE AVENGERS. If you are paying attention then you know that this, of course, means that Project Pegasus has been destroyed by the Tesseract’s energy, however, do you really expect a place like this to not be rebuilt?

There is so much potential of what Marvel could do with this facility and with Vaughn himself even they are not in every episode.

.

.

8. A.I.M / Hydra / Etc.

A.I.M. or Advanced Idea Mechanics and Hydra are two terrorist organizations from the comics. Both of them have acted as foils for S.H.I.E.L.D and both have seen their presence made in Phase 1 of the MCU. Hydra was first seen in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER as the organization that Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull led and A.I.M. was first seen just recently in IRON MAN 3 as the organization founded by Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian.

Either way, whether it is one of these two organizations or other organizations including, but not limited too, Serpent Society and ULTIMATUM, S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to have enemy organizations to combat. My bet is that the main foil, the KAOS to their CONTROL, will end up being Hydra, but again, that’s just a guess.

So, if you are going to have a major terrorist organization, then you need a leader….

.

.

7. Baron Wolfgang von Strucker

Since it is my belief that Hydra will be the main foil in the show, or at least a common thorn in their side, it only makes sense that we get a “face” for the organization, a head honcho that can either be prominently seen or at least alluded to in the series before the big reveal. Comic fans will recognize Baron Wolfgang von Strucker as he has had his roots tied to Captain America and S.H.I.E.L.D. for quite awhile dating back all the way to World War II. Of course, in the comics though, so has Nick Fury. What I find interesting is that Baron Strucker has been so devious in the comics that he has actually managed to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. using sleeper agents and decoys so that possibilities are endless.

Also, you may not realize this, he has already been portrayed on TV during the made-for-TV movie NICK FURY: AGENT OF S.H.I.E.L.D. which starred the Hoff himself, David Hasselhoff as the one-eyed world protector and the nasty Baron was played by Campbell Lane. Between you and I, I think it is time this baddie gets a good outing. Of course, the only question that then remains is whether or not you touch on his physical augmentation which leaves him virtually ageless, able to return from the dead and possessing a body full of death spores that threaten to leak out if he is ever fully killed.

To spore or not to spore, that is the question.

.

.

6. The Purple Man / Stiltman / Scorpio / etc.

The idea here is that with Marvel having a catalogue of over 3,000 characters at their disposal, there is no need to make up antagonists for the show. Already we have a show that will be led by all new characters that do not appear in the comics (yes Phil Coulson has now made his way into the comics, however he was not originally from the comics so there) so to really cash in and capitalize on what this show can do, I feel it is important for Marvel to dig deep into their vaults and pull out characters to use in the show that will offer interesting heroes and villains for S.H.I.E.L.D. to hunt down, but also offer Marvel fans those geek out moments that they so desire. When you have characters like The Purple Man (mind-control), Stilt-man (a villainous poor-man’s Iron Man), Scorpio (several variations including a disguise that Nick Fury used to infiltrate Hydra) and so many more, it almost seems pointless to try and create new characters. Many of the characters that fit into this category are not well known enough to helm their own movies nor are they powerful or menacing enough to act a movie’s villain so bringing them to TV is a great way to utilize these characters. Again, let me point out, even though I have referenced villains in this section, this also goes for heroes too. Cloak and Dagger anyone???

.

.

5. Heroes for Hire

Yep, this is going off the idea that J. August Richards is not playing Luke Cage in the show. Of course, even if he is, that doesn’t diminish the fact that many a Marvel fan wants to see these two, Luke Cage (Powerman) and Danny Rand (Iron Fist), make their way onto the screen at some point whether it is in their own movie (I know that his style may not fit with the rest of the MCU but Quentin Tarantino would make a phenomenal Heroes for Hire movie. Blaxploitation mixed with Kung-Fu? Yeah, I know you agree.) or their own TV show. Well, I believe that by including these two in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show, they can set up a spin-off for a Heroes for Hire TV show if the characters are well received by the audience. This is actually the first of two that I will mention on here that I believe have that potential and with shows like Law and Order and CSI using existing shows to spin-off new versions, why not Marvel? These two are very interesting and pair well together as they are kind of polar opposites that work well together, kind of like a ying to the other’s yang. Plus the whole “if you have the money, we are you’re heroes” concept is unique to TV land.

.

.

4. Namor the Submariner

Hang with me here for a moment. I think to do the character of Namor the Submariner justice, you really need a large budget, especially if you are going to show his home-world of Atlantis where he is Prince, HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean that you can’t continually throw in references to the character or to his world of Atlantis to get people familiar with the idea that the city of Atlantis is real in the MCU. Simple references like “we are keeping an eye on a situation that is developing in the middle of the Atlantic” or things of this nature would be good nods, great Easter Eggs and could possibly build to more. The movies themselves are ripe with Easter Eggs including the original android Human Torch in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER and a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference to both Namor and The Black Panther in IRON MAN 2. Why then would you not put those kind of Easter Eggs, ones that you could build off of for later shows, seasons and movies, into this series as well? You most definitely would add those kind of nods and Namor is a great one.

.

.

3. Taskmaster

Taskmaster, aka Tony Masters, is one of those characters that has acted as a villain and a hero and in some incarnations has even been an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Taskmaster has a wonderfully simple set of powers that are easily translated to the small screen. He has what is called photographic reflexes and is able to mimic the fighting style of anyone he engages in combat or witnesses in combat. Because he can fully mimic these people, he can also anticipate what their next moves are which makes him extremely lethal in combat. He is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, excellent with most weapons and can even mimic the voices of other people. Whether he is used as a villain, a hero or a character that switches allegiance, he is a definite must for the show. Tasky needs some live-action love!

.

.

2. The Punisher

This is a tough one because I really want a Punisher TV show, but ABC is not the place to do it right. With that said, I still believe that Frank Castle can still make an appearance in the show. He could easily be someone that S.H.I.E.L.D. is keeping an eye on that you don’t actually see until the last episode of either the season or of an arc. He is very interesting and with his ties to the government, NOT mentioning him would be a crime and remember, Frank Castle doesn’t like crime. Here is where it gets a little tricky. If you are going to include him, he absolutely must be played by Thomas Jane. THE PUNISHER was the best version of the character we have had to date and Jane absolutely loves the role. He has even gone so far as creating a fan-film called DIRTY LAUNDRY and if you haven’t seen it, you must stop and go watch it at the link I have provided (just come back here when you are done.) Pretty awesome stuff right there.

Hey Marvel, make this happen!

.

.

1. Daredevil

Ok, here we are at number 1. If ever there were a character that deserved to be on TV, Daredevil is it. As I mentioned above with Heroes for Hire, there are two entries on this list that I feel could easily be spun-off into their own shows and Daredevil is one that is literally begging for it. Now that Marvel has the rights back for the character, a proper introduction to the character could open the doors for a new show. Daredevil could easily be a Law and Order / Castle style show from the legal side of things with the inclusion of a horned vigilante. Right now, the only real exposure that the general public has with the character is the dismal Ben Affleck DAREDEVIL which I will agree had some of its share of fans, but really did not showcase the character properly. I would love to see Daredevil get his own show and I think using Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a great stepping off point.

So there is our (my) list of the top 10 things I want to see in the show. What did we (I)miss?

Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D. is directed by Joss Whedon (Pilot) and stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Shannon Lucio and J. August Richards.

SYNOPSIS: Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D. is set to hit the small screen this fall on ABC at 8:00pm Eastern, 7:00pm Central.

The film, which is set to hit theaters at the end of the month, pits the FBI on a man-hunt for a criminal group known as the Four Horsemen who use their stage shows as a way to rob wealthy business individuals they deem corrupt and dump the stolen wealth onto the unsuspecting crowd. It’s kind of like Houdini meets Robin Hood.

Today we have the first four minutes of the film as well as a clip and 8 motion posters for you to check out. So get to checking them out already. Oh, and let us know what you think below.

While the print images may be lacking something, the motion media has been spectacular especially with the latest trailer and TV spots. Now, to add to those, we have three brand new featurettes for the upcoming blockbuster (yes, I said blockbuster because that’s exactly what it will be). Check those out below along with several new posters and banners for the film and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.

When Joss Whedon, a man who was mostly known for his work on television, turned in one of the biggest and most-successful comic book movies of all time, it’s only natural he’d have a little say with what Marvel did next. So what’s the natural next step? Back to TV. Clark Gregg, who was loved by fans as the ill-fated Agent Phil Coulson in all the Marvel movies until his apparent demise in THE AVENGERS, headlines a new series about the covert government sector known as S.H.I.E.L.D. – the organization Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) runs. Whedon directed the pilot, which also features Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Chloe Bennett. I’m not sure how much they could do in a weekly series that would even come close to what fans saw in THE AVENGERS, but I trust in Joss, and primetime TV could use a new comic book-flavored show. Check out the promotional photo above and 30-second video promo below, and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
