Watch a chilling scene from THE ICEMAN starring Michael Shannon and Michael Wincott

If you’re not familiar with the greatness of actor Michael Shannon, you’re missing out big time. The diversified actor has had memorable performances in films like THE RUNAWAYS, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD and BUG, to name a few.  You may have also seen his greatness on the series BOARDWALK EMPIRE. In the new movie THE ICEMAN he plays the title role in the true story of Richard Kuklinski, the notorious contract killer and family man. The movie is helmed by director Ariel Vromen, and co-stars James Franco (who is apparently in EVERYTHING), Benecio del Toro, and Elias Koteas. Why didn’t I mention Michael Wincott, who in the clip below is playing Mr. Softee? Because Franco is apparently replacing Wincott, for what I can only guess is the studio going after a hotter and younger name to add to their cast. Check out the clip, and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a shame. I’ve always enjoyed Wincott’s performances in films, and he looks pretty effectively creepy here. I guess at the very least it gives us an idea of what to expect from Franco’s fate in the movie. Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
