Angelika Dallas Theater celebrates its 10th Anniversary with FREE movies and 10-cent popcorn and sodas – Wednesday, August 3rd

Being a Dallas-based website, there’s a handful of theaters in the area we frequent, regardless of there being an advance screening going on.  One of my personal favorites has always been the Angelika Dallas Theater, conveniently located on Mockingbird Lane and Central 75 Expressway, inside Mockingbird Station.  I remember when they opened, ten years ago, and even back then I was impressed with the comfortable seating, the diversified selection, and friendly staff.  It’s hard to believe it’s already been a decade since those first days, but as they say time flies when you’re having fun.  This Wednesday, August 3rd, the Angelika Dallas celebrates their 10-year anniversary in style, showing some of their most influential audience favorites for FREE all day, and even featuring 10-cent popcorn and 10-cent sodas… seriously, does moviegoing get better than that? The schedule is as follows for Wednesday, August 3rd (remember, all these tickets are FREE, but only this Wednesday):

PRIDE & PREJUDICE (2005) @ 1:30PM
SWIMMING POOL (2003) @ 1:45PM
TELL NO ONE (2006) @ 2:00PM

BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM (2004) @ 4:30PM
(500) DAYS OF SUMMER (2009) @ 4:45PM
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (2006) @ 5:00PM

MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING (2002) @ 7:15PM
MADE (2001) @ 7:30PM
THE STATION AGENT (2004) @ 7:45PM

MULHOLLAND DR. (2001) @ 9:30PM
THE TOWN (2010) @ 9:45PM
CHILDREN OF MEN (2007) @ 10:00PM

For more information visit the Angelika Dallas official website.  Maybe we’ll see ya there!  Did I mention there’s cake at 1pm?

And since MADE, one of my favorite movies of all time, was officially the first film ever to play at the Angelika Dallas, we proudly present the trailer… enjoy.
