Check out the $10 Million deleted scene from Bryan Singer’s SUPERMAN RETURNS (2006)

I’m a huge Superman fan, and one of the few people I know that didn’t have a huge problem with director Bryan Singer’s SUPERMAN RETURNS in 2006. I thought Brandon Routh was excellent as The Man of Steel, and found the film pretty entertaining and nostalgic. Granted, some of the elements in it (particularly the kid, and the lack of Superman have much action) were annoying, but I didn’t hate it at all. Zack Snyder is prepping his reboot with actor Henry Cavill playing the lead, but a major deleted scene from SUPERMAN RETURNS turned up in the recently released SUPERMAN ANTHOLOGY set on Blu-ray. SlashFilm noticed it in HD on YouTube, and we’ve embedded it below for you to check out. If you’ve never seen it, and even remotely like Supes, it’s definitely worth a look. Hard to believe stuff like this is sometimes produced and then never seen. In many ways it could’ve been an ominous way to start the film, and possibly foreshadow the events to come. Check it out for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
