We’ve seen what feels like endless trailers and advertising for Fox’s X-MEN FIRST CLASS, directed by Matthew Vaughn, but today we get (courtesy of Yahoo) our first look at a full clip from the film.  It’s nice to get a sense of how James McAvoy is going to play Charles Xavier, and check out Matt Craven all growns up at the head of the table!  I like the look and feel of this, and hope the quality and effectiveness of this little scene is indicative of the rest of the movie.  Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.  The film stars Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Oliver Platt as “Man in black”, and Ray Wise as Secretary of State of the United States. Check out the trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

X-MEN FIRST CLASS charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
