Red band trailer for BAD TEACHER – Cameron Diaz shows her dark (and funny) side

.

Let’s face it, in recent years Cameron Diaz hasn’t turned in many memorable films. Seems like she’s doomed to appear in forgettable comedies and dramas, and her most recent appearance in THE GREEN HORNET was anything but memorable. She needs something to wow audiences, and remind us why we fell in love with her many years ago in THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY… or for me, THE MASK. The new dark comedy BAD TEACHER may just be that comeback role for the popular actress. She co-stars with Justin Timberlake (playing a nerdy and naive new teacher), Jason Segel (as the horndog gym coach), Lucy Punch (as the competing teacher in school), and THE OFFICE‘s Phyllis Smith as her best friend. Directed by Jake Kasdan (who did the very underrated ORANGE COUNTY), this one is definitely on my radar now. Check out the red band trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

BAD TEACHER opens June 24, 2011
