Nascar Daytona 500 TV Spot for TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON

Nascar Daytona 500 TV Spot for TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON

.

.

During the Daytona 500 this weekend, a new commercial for TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON aired, which is very similar to the Superbowl spot, but features a few new shots… and what’s that? Are those Daytona cars? Well, director Michael Bay does love fast cars, and beautiful women, and this commercial has both. No offense to Rose Huntington-Whiteley, but I’m wondering if some people are seeing these spots and just assuming that’s Megan Fox in there. There’s definitely some similarities going on. And hey, is Josh Duhamel in this?? I see Tyrese Gibson, and Shia LaBeouf, and I even hear John Turturro. Where’s Josh?! Maybe he’s the one driving one of those Daytona cars. Thoughts in the comments, y’all.

Synopsis:

The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON opens July 1, 2011
