Video Interview: Kenneth Branagh on directing Marvel’s THOR movie

Since today is his birthday, I can’t imagine a better time to post this video from my rountable interview with director Kenneth Branagh, during the THOR press junkets at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Like many I found Branagh an interesting choice to take on the God of Thunder’s big screen adaptation, but it seems like he’s taking the material seriously, and going out of his way to do the proper amount of research. Even the Marvel higher ups seem to be impressed with his choices in how to make the film. Surely by now you’ve seen the trailer we posted, and we’re anxious to hear your thoughts on THOR, which you can post in the comments below. Look for more interview clips on THOR to be posted soon. In the video below, you’ll hear questions from myself and others at the roundtable – the first question comes from me.

THOR opens May 6, 2011
