San Diego Comic-Con 2010 – IDW’s Anna Maria White interview, TRUE BLOOD and ROCKETEER comic book info!

While at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, I had the pleasure of talking to IDW’s Director and Marketing and Promotions – Anna Maria White.  Now considering how ridiculously busy it is at Comic-Con, the fact that someone in her position would take time out to talk with me is quite an honor.  I never take that stuff for granted.  We discussed some of their new comic lines, and even touched upon upcoming projects, including TRUE BLOOD comics (co-plotted by series creator Alan Ball) and something I’m very excited about… new ROCKETEER comics.  What?!?  That’s right.  I also chatted with editor Scott Dunbier about THE ROCKETEER Artist’s Edition, and will have that interview posted shortly.

I’m really loving what IDW is putting out these days, so we’ll keep you posted on upcoming titles and projects as much as possible.  Now more than ever I think they are a comic book publisher to watch, and so much of what they’re doing is getting attention for all the right reasons.  I’m especially happy to see the great stuff they’re producing for THE ROCKETEER, as Dave Stevens was a friend of mine, and I know he’d be proud of what IDW has produced so far.

Check out the interview with the lovely Mrs. White below, and for more information check out IDW’s official website.
