HAUNTED MANSION trailer – Disney brings their park attraction to life for the big screen… again

You might have forgot it, but this year’s big screen iteration of Disney’s HAUNTED MANSION is actually not the first time the House of Mouse attempted to bring their popular park attraction to the big screen. It was 20 years ago that Eddie Murphy attempted to headline a HAUNTED MANSION movie, and the end result was… well, a bit of a bomb. It made its money back, but not enough to be considered a big hit for the studio, and also didn’t fare well critically. This year Disney is attempting another HAUNTED MANSION movie, this time headlined by LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon and Dan Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost. Directed by Justin Simien, the reboot hits theaters this July. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.

HAUNTED MANSION opens July 28, 2023
