REACHER trailer – Amazon Prime Video brings Lee Child’s pulp hero to life… more accurately

We already saw author Lee Child’s pulp hero Jack Reacher brought to life on the big screen in two different movies starring Tom Cruise in the lead. But fans of the character were justifiably bothered by Cruise’s casting, as in the books Reacher is portrayed is a giant of a man – tall and muscular, which Tom Cruise is not. Now Amazon Prime Video is approaching the material in a new way for a new series, and they’ve cast someone who seems much more fitting for the role. REACHER stars Alan Ritchson (TITANS) as Jack Reacher, and the series is under the creative guidance of showrunner Nick Santora (PRISON BREAK). In addition to Ritchson, REACHER also stars Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Kristin Kreuk, Bruce McGill and Chris Webster. The first season is said to follow Child’s 1997 novel “Killing Floor” and hits Amazon Prime Video on February 4, 2022. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
