I’m actually kind of surprised it took as long as it did to complete the MEET THE PARENTS trilogy. The first film was a smash hit, though the second film (despite a respectable box office take) seemed to let a lot of fans down a bit. Now we’ve got a third, this time using the Focker kids as title fodder. LITTLE FOCKERS reunites Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller, along with Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Owen Wilson, and Barbara Streisand, and also along for the ride are Harvey Keitel, Laura Dern, and (brace yourself nerds) Jessica Alba. Paul Wietz (AMERICAN PIE) is directing, with MEET THE PARENTS and MEET THE FOCKERS screenwriter John Hamburg penning, with a little help from newcomer Larry Stuckey. Not sure why director Jay Roach, who helmed the first two, is nowhere to be seen, but I’m sure there’s a good reason. Also, Dustin Hoffman is absent from the trailer, but listed on IMDB. Hmmm…. Check out the somewhat amusing teaser trailer below and tell us what you think.
