SUPERINTELLIGENCE trailer – Melissa McCarthy must stop AI from destroying the world

With so many movies heading to streaming services now, it looks like Melissa McCarthy is the next big comedy star to make that jump. The comedy SUPERINTELLIGENCE features the fan-favorite funny lady as a woman who meets an Artificial Intelligence entity that is using her to determine if the world is worth saving… and is voiced by James Corden. Ben Falcone (McCarthy’s real life husband) directs and co-stars in the movie, which also features Bobby Cannavale as a former love interest. While I like both Falcone and McCarthy, there’s not much wow factor in this trailer, which is surprisingly short on laughs considering its intended comedic premise. Check it out for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

An all-powerful Superintelligence (James Corden) chooses to study the most average person on Earth, “Carol Peters” (Melissa McCarthy), the fate of the world hangs in the balance. As the A.I. decides to enslave, save or destroy humanity, it’s up to Carol to prove that people are worth saving.

SUPERINTELLIGENCE hits HBO Max on Thanksgiving Day – November 26, 2020
