If you’re reading this and wanting to watch this new trailer, I hope for your sake you’ve seen AVENGERS: ENDGAME, or you’re about to head into major spoiler territory. So yeah, Peter Parker ain’t dead. It kind of amazes me that some people still thought Thanos and his snapped fingers last year would actually wipe out one of Marvel’s most popular character permanently, but as you can see by the trailer below, he’s not feeling bad anymore… and he ain’t dust. Tom Holland returns in the role of Peter Parker in SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, this time going on a class trip overseas, where he meets up with the mysterious Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Is Mysterio a hero? It would appear so, but if the comics have taught us anything, especially about that character, it’s that appearances can be deceiving. But hey, that’s nothing… Nick Fury is here! Samuel L. Jackson shows up as Nick, and he shows up while Peter is overseas, and the mission he gives him appears to be pretty important. We also see what looks like a version of Sandman, Hydro-man, and supposedly Michael Keaton is back in some form or another this time around, as is Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. We also see a version of Spidey’s famous “black costume”, though this looks more like stealth tactical gear. The supporting cast (which has a lot of returning faces from the first movie) includes Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Angourie Rice, Martin Starr, Remy Hii, Numan Acar, Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon, and J.B. Smoove. Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
