Victoria’s Secret confirms Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is in TRANSFORMERS 3… in the most ridiculous way ever

It’s been mere weeks since Megan Fox officially walked away (or was possibly fired) from Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS 3, and many have been wondering who would be the new love interest for Shia LaBeouf.  Names like Gemma Arterton and Brooklyn Decker were thrown around, and Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was reportedly offered the part last week.  Now Victoria’s Secret has confirmed that Rosie did indeed get the part, and they’ve done so with one of the most overly-long and overdramatic videos I’ve seen in years… at least for this kind of announcement.  You can see the video for yourself below.  Michael Bay has said he wants a fresh face for the part, and considering his close connection with Victoria’s Secret (directing many of their commercials), I guess this all sort of makes sense.  Personally I was kind of hoping they’d go for a more “realistic” love interest for Shia’s awkward hero character, but I guess a lingerie model is prettier to look at for audiences.  So what do you think?  Could Rosie be the next Megan Fox?  Is Megan leaving the franchise a good thing?  Does anyone really care?  Tell us in the comments below.
