New badass full trailer for SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

I recently saw MACGRUBER, and before the film started the theater showed the initial trailer for SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, which to be quite honest went over like a fart in church.  Seriously, I think just about everyone in that theater had no idea what to make of the teaser.  There was no laughter, no cheering, no real enthusiasm of any sort.  That worries me.  I really like the Scott Pilgrim comics (by Bryan Lee O’Malley), and I love the work of Edgar Wright.  I also think everything I’ve seen from this film looks like a very loving tribute to the source material, and a helluva lot of fun.  Now there’s a new trailer, courtesy of Facebook, filled with even more quick-cut action.  Again, I’m loving what I see, but I have a feeling that underwhelmed audience isn’t going to find much exciting about this either.  This may end up being one of those “Either you get it or you don’t” type of films.  Personally, I can’t wait to see it.  For God’s sake, look at the cast!  The film stars Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, and co-stars Jason Schwartzman as the nefarious Gideon Gordon Graves, along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Romona Flowers, and featuring Brandon Routh, the new CAPTAIN AMERICA Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, and Kieran Culkin. Check it out and tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
