Today we get a new look at SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY by way of a featurette called “Becoming Solo”, and in some ways this does a better job of selling the film than the trailers did. This production has had a rough road. After Phil Lord and Chris Miller were removed from the production after principal photography was done, Ron Howard was brought in to finish the film in editing and do reshoots. That changed, and rumor has is Howard re-shot almost 80% of the film. But most surprising was it took until February for us to see anything from the film… no movie stills, no trailer, just a poster with a logo. The Super Bowl changed that, and since then we’ve seen several posters (some that were controversial), and a couple of trailers. The movie stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton, Donald Glover, Clint Howard, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Joonas Suotamo. Check out the brand spanking new behind the scenes clip for the film below, which is less than a month away.
