Everyone loves David Tennant, particularly Doctor Who fans, partly because he has such a pleasant and likable demeanor. But he can play baddies too, as evidenced in Marvel’s JESSICA JONES. His newest role is in BAD SAMARITAN, which looks quite sinister. The story revolves around a valet who has a scam with his buddy to rob houses of restaurant diners while they eat, using their cars to gain access… it’s actually so clever, I hope no one gets ideas from this. Anyway, he picks Tennant’s character, which ends up going very wrong. This is directed by Dean Devlin, who previously helmed last year’s GEOSTORM, but also produced STARGATE and INDEPENDENCE DAY. It also stars Robert Sheehan, Carlito Olivero, Kerry Condon and Jacqueline Byers. Check out the first trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

A valet (Robert Sheehan) develops a clever scam to burglarize the houses of rich customers.   Things go smoothly until he robs the wrong customer (David Tennant), and discovers  a woman being held captive in his home.   Afraid of going to prison, he leaves the woman there and makes a call to the police, who find nothing when they investigate. Now, the valet must endure the wrath of the kidnapper who seeks revenge on him, all while desperately trying to find and rescue the captive woman he left behind.

BAD SAMARITAN opens March 30, 2018
