When you make an animated movie with a voice cast that includes Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Brad Pitt, and Jonah Hill, you can pretty much bet it’s gonna be good… at least we can hope so, right?  The movie MEGAMIND gives us a delightfully funny take on superhero films, with Ferrell voicing an alien supervillain from another planet, and Pitt voicing the superpowered hero (Metro Man) of the city who gets all the glory.  The jealous alien keeps trying to exact revenge Metro Man, in hopes of satisfying a vendetta that started when they were babies shot to earth from their homeworld.  Imagine the Superman story, but with Supes battling a competitive alien that arrived on earth the same time he did.  Tina Fey even fulfills the Lois Lane archetype.  Check out the trailer below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

MEGAMIND opens November 5, 2010
