The series may be ending, but you can own a piece of LOST forever

If you’re not familar with the world of Hollywood prop auctions, and if you’re a fan of LOST, chances are you should take note of this particular article.  Our buddies at Profiles In History auction house have got a really special auction coming up featuring original props from the J.J. Abrams hit television series LOST on ABC… or I should say on ABC for at least a few more weeks.  The series is almost over for good, but these items could hold a special place in your home forever, if you’re the high bidder of course.  Just think, you could be the proud owner of Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) Pace’s guitar, or Ben (Michael Emerson) Linus’ passport, or Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) Hume’s photo of himself and Penny, or even something as cool as Sawyer’s copy of Watership Down.  Honestly, just about every item in this auction is a winner, or at least something special within the confines of the show’s storytelling.  I have a feeling some of these items will go pretty high, but sometimes in these Hollywood prop auctions you can find a deal or two.  That said, I can’t imagine a bigger show in recent years, or one that would have as much excitement generated over an auction like this.  My biggest question to ask myself is what ONE item would I want to agressively go after?  If it had to be one thing, which one thing would it be?  After looking through the lots, I’m having a really hard time narrowing it down to a single target.  Take a look for yourself, and you’ll surely see what I mean.

The auction hits this summer (no date specified just yet – I imagine they’re still waiting on props to come in from these last few episodes), but you can preview all of the items currently in the queue right now by going HERE.  Or for more information call Profiles In History at 310-859-7701
