Chris McKay edited THE LEGO MOVIE, and steps into the director’s role for the absolutely necessary spinoff of THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE (See, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are one of the busiest writer / director duos working, and they can’t do everything).

Batman stole every scene he was in from THE LEGO MOVIE, and after delivering a killer San Diego Comic-Con trailer, DC Comics and Warner Brothers have now given us a new trailer to laugh along with. THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE the voices of Will Arnett (as Batman), Ralph Fiennes (as Alfred), Rosario Dawson (as Barbara Gordon / Batgirl), Jenny Slate (as The Joker), Michael Cera (as Robin), Mariah Carey (as the Mayor) and Zack Galifianakis (as The Joker). In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO® Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble—LEGO Batman—stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE will debut in theaters February 10, 2017
