I am so excited for LUKE CAGE, every trailer and clip that’s hit the web so far has been terrific. Today we’re treated to a new trailer for the Netflix series, and man oh man does it deliver, including one of the sweetest and most smile-inducing endings of any trailer for the Netflix/Marvel shows so far. I love the tone on display here. Mike Colter is quite likable and effective in the role, so it should be fun to see him carry the Harlem setting and show us a newer side of the Marvel television universe. In the trailer below you’ll also see a bit of villains Cornell Stokes (Mahershala Ali) and Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard), plus Luke’s allies Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson, who has appeared in all of the Marvel/Netflix shows) and Misty Knight (Simone Missick)… and the one and only Method Man, though we’re guessing that’s probably just a cameo. Take a look and see if you aren’t as stoked as us to catch this when it hits September 30th.
