See a new MORGAN trailer actually created in AI by IBM’s Watson – how’s that for creepy?

The new modern day Frankenstein-esque film MORGAN opens this weekend, which deals a bit with the concept of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and how it would interact with humans. The studio has delivered one last new trailer today, but in a weird “art imitates life” scenario (or perhaps the reverse of it) this trailer was actually “made” by AI through IBM’s Watson. That’s right, Artificial Intelligence cut this trailer. Take a look below and see what it produced, and they explain all of it afterward. Produced by Ridley Scott, the MORGAN cast includes Kate Mara, Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Paul Giamatti. This is directed by Luke Scott (son of Ridley Scott). Our Ronnie Malik didn’t seem terribly impressed with it, though she did note the final 20 minutes makes it worth a look. Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

A corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.

MORGAN opens September 2, 2016
