No matter how many cool iterations of Batman hit the big screen, they’ll never be able to top the fun that was the 1966 BATMAN television series. The intentionally campy show remains a classic, and still resonates with Bat-fans of all ages. Now those same citizens can journey down memory lane with an all-new animated movie, thanks to the fine folks at Warner Bros. Animation. BATMAN: RETURN OF THE CAPED CRUSADERS features the voices of Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar as Batman, Robin and Catwoman respectively. The film finds our heroes going up against The Penguin, The Joker, The Riddler and Catwoman in a caper that even takes them into outer space! Check out the new trailer below, and the teaser if you missed it. The animation looks really solid for a home video release, and we’re guessing this will be a hot seller. Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

It’s back to the 1960s as Batman and Robin spring into action when Gotham City is threatened by a quartet of Batman’s most fiendish foes – Penguin, The Joker, Riddler and Catwoman. This time, the four Super-Villains have combined their wicked talents to hatch a plot so nefarious that the Dynamic Duo will need to go to outer space (and back) to foil their arch enemies and restore order in Gotham City. It’s a truly fantastic adventure that will pit good against evil, good against good, evil against evil … and feature two words that exponentially raise the stakes for both sides: Replicator Ray. Holy Multiplication Tables!
