If you loved the big screen adaptations of THE DA VINCI CODE and ANGELS & DEMONS, you may be anxiously waiting for the next Dan Brown adventure to hit theaters. This October sees the release of INFERNO, with Ron Howard returning to the director chair and Tom Hanks once again playing symbologist Robert Langdon. The story opens with Langdon suffering amnesia in Florence, and teaming up with Dr. Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones) in hopes of preventing a plague that seemingly could wipe out the human race. The supporting cast includes Ben Foster as Bertrand Zobrist (the bad guy of the story), Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy and Sidse Babett Knudsen. While these types of movies seems to be fairly predictable fare at the box office, it will be interesting to see if they stick close to the book, as the ending is rather world-changing. Academy Award® winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a madman from unleashing a global virus that would wipe out half of the world’s population.

INFERNO opens October 28, 2016
