Marlon Wayans had great success doing parody films of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY movies with A HAUNTED HOUSE and A HAUNTED HOUSE 2. Now he’s turned his focus to something even more ridiculous that found footage… the 50 SHADES OF GREY phenomenon. His newest production FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK isn’t just putting a racial spin on the story, it’s also pointing out just how silly some of those scenes come across. Kali Hawk plays the female lead, and the supporting cast includes Mike Epps, Fred Willard and Jane Seymour. Michael Tiddes, who directed both A HAUNTED HOUSE entries, is also behind the camera here. Check out the trailer below and see if you get a few chuckles. I’ve actually enjoyed these recent slapstick comedies Wayans has produced, so I’ll give this one a shot as well.
