SDCC 2015: Four-minute THE WALKING DEAD Season 6 trailer – old friends are new rivals

THE WALKING DEAD returns to AMC with a 90-minutes season premiere episode on October 11, but fans at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 got their first look at Season 6 by way of a four-minute trailer, which you can now see below. There’s some new faces in the crowds, including Merrit Weaver, Corey Hawkins and Ethan Embry. If you’re hungry for more sneak peaks, be sure to tune into AMC on August 23rd for a special episode of TALKING DEAD – Season 6 Preview Special. Host Chris Hardwick will shows previews of the new season, and feature interviews with cast and crew. What’s most interesting to note in this new trailer below is how Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his old pal Morgan (Lennie James) appear to be rivals now, as most expected Morgan’s return to help Rick. Based on the comic created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, “The Walking Dead” will return to AMC this October for another 16-episode season.
