We just posted yesterday the rumor that Harrison Ford might be joining Jon Favreau’s upcoming comic book adaptation COWBOYS AND ALIENS. Now we have confirmation. Ford appears to be in. Favreau posted the following on his Twitter:
@Jon_Favreau Please stop asking if Harrison Ford is in Cowboys & Aliens. Okay? He is. Please don’t tell anybody.
So there you have it, Indiana Jones hits the Old West to fight Martians… wait, didn’t Harrison just do a movie where he fought aliens? Oh well. As I said in my previous report on this, with Favreau at the helm, and people like Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde attached, I’m on board. The only recent Western with other-worldly elements I can think of is WILD, WILD WEST, and surely this will be better than that. If we hear more, we’ll let ya know.
