It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since BACK TO THE FUTURE came out in theaters. I remember seeing it with my uncle and cousin back in 1985, and this was before we really knew anything about it. I just liked Michael J. Fox, and that’s why we went. Safe to say I became an instant fan. By working on the Dallas Comic Con and Sci-Fi Expo events through the years, I’ve had the honor of hosting some pretty cool Q&A sessions with guests, but one of the most near and dear to my heart came in 2013. We had four stars of BACK TO THE FUTURE – Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, James Tolkan and Claudia Wells… and I got to host their Q&A panel. It’s funny, I’ve interviewed big name stars, even hosted panels with some huge figures in the entertainment industry, but I was never more nervous or excited than I was on that day. In honor of the film’s 30th Anniversary (it was released exactly 30 years ago today), I’m posting video of the full Q&A session, which runs about about an hour. Our thanks to yodasama who posted this and other great videos on YouTube. If you’ve never been to a Dallas Comic Con event, check out more info on the shows here.
