One of the best films I’ve seen this year opened up the 2015 Dallas International Film Festival. I’LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS is a beautiful character study about getting older and starting new relationships, headlined by the lovely Blythe Danner. Director Brett Haley joined her at DIFF to introduce Dallas audiences to the film, which is a career-defining performance for Danner. I had a chance to sit down with them both to chat a bit about the film, and you can watch that interview below. Brett noticed my Breaking Bad necklace, which explains the Better Call Saul conversation at the start. If you live in the DFW area, you can see I’LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS now at the Landmark Magnolia Theater and Angelika Plano.
