The Dallas-based USA Film Festival heads into the weekend with more great films, and one of the highlights of their Saturday programming is SWEETHEARTS OF THE GRIDIRON. The film covers the history of the Rangerettes in Kilgore, Texas – which became the birth place of the half time show in football. I had a chance to sit down and chat a bit with the man behind the film, Chip Hale, who will be in attendance at the screening along with several actual Rangerettes past and present. You can see the movie and these folks on Saturday, April 25 at 4:30pm at the Angelika Film Center in Mockingbird Station. Check out the interview below, and if you’re in Dallas click here for info on the USA Film Festival, which runs through Sunday.
