Golden Globes 2015 winners full list – BOYHOOD, BIRDMAN & THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING win big

GoldenGlobes2015header

UPDATE: Live updating done, all of the winners are listed. BOYHOOD and BIRDMAN got some nice wins, making us wonder if this is what to expect from the Oscars. BOYHOOD took home Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette, Best Director for Richard Linklater, and Best Picture Drama. BIRDMAN won Michael Keaton a Best Actor award, and a Best Screenplay award as well. THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING also picked up a Best Actor award for Eddie Redmayne, and Best Original Score. If all of this is indicative of what to expect come Academy Award time, we’re fine with it.

Whether you’re watching the 2015 Golden Globes and just trying to keep up, or watching something else and just curious to know who is winning what, we’ve got ya covered. Check out a list below (updated live) of the winners in each category. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the show for the last time this year, which opens the door and begs the question of who will take over in 2016. Many feel the Golden Globe Awards are a good indicator of what to expect from the Academy Awards, in terms of who might take home Oscar gold. A few surprises tonight, like THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL winning, which I loved, I just assumed like many it was going to get overlooked since it hit so early in the year. And Eddie Redmayne winning for THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING is certainly well-deserved, but most people I talked to figured that was David Oleyowo’s award to take home. Let us know if you agree or disagree with any of the winning choices in our comments section at the bottom.

The site also features a variety of rare celebrity and filmmaker interviews, and Bigfanboy.com regularly covers the film festival circuit as well. In addition to Hollywood reporting, Mark has worked for many years as an advertising and sci-fi/comic book artist. Clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Topps Trading Cards, The Dallas Mavericks and The Dallas Stars. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
