GET HARD trailer – Will Ferrell needs Kevin Hart to train him for jail

Kevin Hart isn’t slowing down it seems. Outside of this year’s films like RIDE ALONG, THINK LIKE A MAN TOO and ABOUT LAST NIGHT, he’s also got THE WEDDING RINGER hitting next month, followed by GET HARD in March. The latter pairs him with Will Ferrell, in a story where Ferrell plays a rich jerk who is facing serious prison time. Hart plays a man asked to prep him for the experience, under the assumption he too has done time, but in truth he’s hardly the thug type. The cast also includes Tip “T.I.” Harris, Alison Brie, and Craig T. Nelson. This sort of story has certainly been done before, but the idea of putting Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart together on screen is pretty fun, so we’ll see where it goes. Check out the trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

When millionaire hedge fund manager James (Will Ferrell) is nailed for fraud and bound for a stretch in San Quentin, the judge gives him 30 days to get his affairs in order. Desperate, he turns to Darnell (Kevin Hart) to prep him for a life behind bars. But despite James’ one-percenter assumptions, Darnell is a hard-working small business owner who has never received a parking ticket, let alone been to prison. Together, the two men do whatever it takes for James to “get hard” and, in the process, discover how wrong they were about a lot of things – including each other.

GET HARD opens on March 27, 2015
