Stanley Kubrick’s THE SHINING is easily one of the most beloved horror films of all time.  Based on the book by Stephen King, the adaptation featured Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall and was released to unprepared audiences 34 years ago.  If you never got to see it on the big screen, that can change tonight.  Our friends at the historic Texas Theatre are doing a special 35mm screening Friday night, December 19th, co-sponsored by DEEP ELLUM BREWERY. $5 pints all night, keep the pint glass! George Quartz deejays from midnight to 2am following the feature. The Texas Theatre is showing is Friday night at 9:45pm and Sunday night at 6:45pm.  It shall be glorious, and we hope you’ll be there to share in the moment.
