If you’ve been counting the days until another TAKEN movie comes out, your wait is almost over. Liam Neeson returns with his particular set of skills in TAKEN 3, which has (believe it or not) been titled TAK3N. This time around Bryan Mills (Neeson) must avenge the murder of his wife (played again by Famke Janssen), which he’s accused of. It’s sort of a bad-ass variation of THE FUGITIVE, with the added challenge over watching over his daughter as well, played again by Maggie Grace. Forest Whitaker joins the action as the authoritative figure trying to capture Mills. Olivier Megaton, who directed TAKEN 2, is back in the director chair. Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are handling the script. Check out the new poster above and first trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his “particular set of skills,” to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter.

TAK3N opens on January 9th, 2015
