THE BOY NEXT DOOR trailer has Jennifer Lopez sleeping with the wrong younger man

boynextdoor-header

If you’ve been waiting for another Jennifer Lopez star vehicle to hit theaters, you’ll get your wish this January. THE BOY NEXT DOOR isn’t anything we haven’t seen in some form before, and if I’m being completely honest the trailer doesn’t make it look all that good. But Universal is putting it out in January, a time many consider a dumping ground for films that just don’t fit anywhere else. Who knows, it might be just what it needs. In the movie J-Lo sleeps with a younger man, played by Ryan Guzman, and regrets it when she sees him becoming obsessed with her. John Corbett and Kristin Chenoweth also star. While on the surface it sounds like a serious film, some of the lines in the trailer are almost laugh out loud comical, particularly the last one. Will audiences take this seriously? We’ll see. Take a look for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Jennifer Lopez leads the cast in THE BOY NEXT DOOR, a psychological thriller that explores a forbidden attraction that goes much too far. Directed by Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious) and written by Barbara Curry, the film also stars Ryan Guzman, John Corbett and Kristin Chenoweth.

THE BOY NEXT DOOR opens January 23, 2015
