New 5-minute THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE sneak peek promises big action, praises director David Slade

The next installment of the TWILIGHT franchise is getting closer, and we’ve got a new 5-minute sneak peek behind-the-scenes video that shows quite a bit from the film.  The first thing you’ll notice is high praise for director David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT and HARD CANDY), and the noting of his “darker” style bringing a new feel to this installment of the franchise.  I for one am glad Slade is helming this one, as I love his work, and it gives me hope that maybe (just maybe) these movies might offer something for guys like me for a change.  Look, I know these films aren’t made for my sensibilities, but at least with someone like Slade at the helm, I can go in a little more optimistic at the impending press screening.  The other thing you’ll notice here is the promise of big action, and plenty of it.  THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON showed some promise of action toward the end during the Volturi scenes, and I’m really hoping this next one continues with that.  The opportunity is certainly there.  Check out the video for yourself and let us know in the comments below what you think.
