While it may not have been anything terribly unique in the realm of comedies, I rather enjoyed 2011’s HORRIBLE BOSSES, as it delivered exactly what I expected and was quite funny. It also felt like a throwback to some of the darker comedy films of the 1980s, which was a little refreshing. HORRIBLE BOSSES 2 reunites Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day, along with first film co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx… and the targets this time around are played by Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine. You won’t see much of the latter two names in the teaser trailer, but you definitely get the impression this sequel will be similar to what came before. It’s directed by our buddy Sean Anders (who also co-wrote the screenplay), the man that helmed the criminally underrated SEX DRIVE. Check out the first trailer for the sequel and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in “Horrible Bosses 2.” But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
