Stan Lee has become a bit of a regular in Texas thanks to the Dallas Comic Con. He first appeared at DCC in 2011, and again for two events in 2012. His big return to Big D was a little over a week ago at the 2014 edition of Dallas Comic Con, where Stan appeared all three days (it’s rare now to see him at a show for more than one day). On Friday night Stan did his big Q&A session, hosted by comic book creator extraordinaire Jimmy Palmiotti. Watching Jimmy and Stan on stage is always a treat, and this session was no exception. Nothing earth-shattering here, just a fun bit of audience interaction with a living legend – I love the little comment he makes about Warner Brothers in here. At 91 years of age, Stan still seems to have more energy than most people I know. Check out the full video below, which runs about about 40 minutes. Our thanks to yodasama who posted this and other great videos on YouTube. If you’ve never been to the Dallas Comic Con, check out more info on the event here.

About the Author

Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. After three years of service there, he started Bigfanboy.com, which has become one of the Dallas film community's leading information websites. Bigfanboy hosts several movie screenings in the Texas area, and works closely with film and TV studios and promotional partners to host exciting events and contests. The site also features a variety of rare celebrity and filmmaker interviews, and Bigfanboy.com regularly covers the film festival circuit as well. In addition to Hollywood reporting, Mark has worked for many years as an advertising and sci-fi/comic book artist. Clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Topps Trading Cards, The Dallas Mavericks and The Dallas Stars. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
