Video interview: Wayne Knight hugs it out talking about THE EXES on TV Land

wayneknight-header

Wayne Knight definitely made a name for himself on SEINFELD playing the meddlesome mailman Newman, solidifying him in the halls of fame of sitcom history. Thanks to the fine folks at TV Land, Knight has found another sitcom role to “embrace” starring on THE EXES. This year at San Diego Comic-Con, Wayne appeared with others to promote TV Land’s lineup, and I had the good fortune of chatting with him about his series, which is already into its third season. I had never met Mr. Knight before, but as you can see below we hit it off pretty nicely… and yes, every second of what you’re seeing was fun for me. It’s always nice to have an interview go this way, though it’s rarely expected. If you haven’t seen THE EXES yet, definitely check it out, as it has a nice classic sitcom flare. I’m actually very happy to see TV Land doing original comedy programming, as most of the networks seem to be coasting along or in some cases just giving up. Take a look at our interview below and tell us your thoughts on the show in the comments. Big thanks to Jeni DeFeo for shooting this.
