DESPICABLE ME 2 special Halloween trailer – who is stealing the minions?

Just in time for Halloween comes a new Halloween-themed teaser for Universal Pictures’ DESPICABLE ME 2. Gru is back, again voiced by Steve Carell, and the bad guy in this one is voiced by Al Pacino. Also listen for Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Steve Coogan, and Ken Jeong. Co-directors Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud are back as well. I loved the first DESPICABLE ME, and I’m definitely interested to see Gru and the minions again… I just hope there’s still some magic left there. It does seem like Universal has been putting out some pretty cool stuff lately, so we’ll keep and eye on this one.

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s worldwide blockbuster, Despicable Me, delighted audiences around the globe in 2010, grossing more than $540 million and becoming the 10th-biggest animated motion picture in U.S. history. In Summer 2013, get ready for more minion madness in Despicable Me 2. Chris Meledandri and his acclaimed filmmaking team create an all-new comedy animated adventure featuring the return of Gru (Steve Carell), the girls, the unpredictably hilarious minions…and a host of new and outrageously funny characters.

DESPICABLE ME 2 opens July 3, 2013
