Okay, I’ll admit, these dance films like SAVE THE LAST DANCE, STEP UP, and of course STEP UP 2 THE STREETS are not necessarily for me, but I realize there’s a definite audience out there for them… right?  Well MTV films is releasing a new dance epic called TURN THE BEAT AROUND, and there’s a 4-minute long clip from the film below.  I’ll say this, with all the sexy women in scantily clad outfits, and the imaginative dance moves on display here, I could probably sit through this for a bit.  I watched the clip and was pretty transfixed.  Do you think the blond ballet girl will find a way to fit in?  Is it possible the boy who injured his leg will overcome the odds?  I’m getting too old I guess.  I might be less hesitant if it wasn’t for the face that dance flicks like this are what’s responsible for giving up Channing Tatum.  Yeah, I said it.
