First posters for ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER are actually two images of a lenticular poster!

The very first poster(s) for next summer’s horror mash-up ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER directed by Timur Bekmambetov (WANTED, NIGHT WATCH) and produced by Tim Burton (ALICE IN WONDERLAND, BATMAN) are finally here, thanks to IGN.  The posters are unique in that they are actually the two parts of a lenticular poster.  Lenticular posters, for those that don’t know, are ones that change appearance depending on how you look at them.  Because this effect is done with a special printing and layering effect, you cannot successfully recreate that online.

The posters are simple yet they convey very well what this movie is about.  Politician by day, hunter of vampires by night.  These are effective teaser posters, sparking interest and curiosity without giving away too much like what the vampires will look like, what his Abraham’s mysterious “friend” Henry looks like, or even how Benjamin Walker (almost The Beast in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) looks as this country’s 16th President.

Take a look at the posters below and let us know what you think in the comments below.  You can click on the images to make them really, really big.
