Miss the Golden Globes? We’ve got the winners listed here.

Well the results are all in, and the winners made their speeches and took home their trophies.  Did ya miss it?  We’ve got the winners listed below, and included the other nominees in case you were wondering who they were up against.  Most of the celebrities were wearing red ribbons, in support of the Haiti relief fund, but showed strong restraint in keeping the speeches from getting too political.  The Golden Globes has always been one of my favorite of the award shows, mainly because you can tell most of the people there are having fun and letting loose.  Tonight’s installment really packed in the names, including Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Paul McCartney, Cher, and more.  Ricky Gervais tried his best to keep the mood lighthearted, though I fear not everyone in the room got his British sense of humor.  The Cecil B. DeMille award went to Martin Scorsese… in case you were wondering.

A few observations:

There’s obviously (as is usually the case with the Golden Globes) a lot of drinks flowing through that place – I’m talking to you Kevin Bacon, Harrison Ford, and Morgan Freeman.

Christina Aguilera looks phenomenal – Cher… not so much.

Julia Roberts gave out the final award, and when reading nominations and their directors, she completely neglected to name Jason Reitman for some reason, even though the camera was on his face.

William Hurt looks like a wise viking.

Christina Hendricks is Jessica Rabbit come to life – and I am SO fine with that.

Meryl Streep likes to talk.

Am I the only one who found James Cameron’s speech  a little uninspiring and unexciting? Irony I guess.

The Hollywood Foreign Press REALLY likes AVATAR.
