RED STATE:

RED STATE is directed by Kevin Smith and stars Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner, Stephen Root, Melissa Leo, Michael Parks, John Goodman, Ralph Garman, and Nicholas Braun.

Synopsis: Three teenage boys are lured to the town of Cooper’s Dell with the promise of a party. But instead of enjoying the night of their dreams, the teens are plunged into the nightmarish world of Pastor Abin Cooper and the Five Points Trinity, a fundamentalist group with a stockpile of weaponry and a deadly moral agenda. When word of the teens’ disappearance reaches the authorities, a military task force is mobilized. With Cooper’s Dell teetering between salvation and damnation, the ATF braces for furious gun battle with Cooper and his heavily armed followers in this fever-pitched action thriller from writer-director Kevin Smith.

RED STATE hit VOD on September 1, 2011 and will hit theaters in a limited release on September 23, 2011.

THE SKIN I LIVE IN:

THE SKIN I LIVE IN is directed by Pedro Almodovar and stars Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya, Marisa Paredes, Jan Cornet, Roberto Álamo, and Blanca Suárez.

Synopsis: Ever since his wife was burned in a car crash, Dr. Robert Ledgard (Antonia Banderas), an eminent plastic surgeon, has been interested in creating a new skin with which he could have saved her. After twelve years, he manages to cultivate a skin that is a real shield against every assault. In addition to years of study and experimentation, Robert needed a further three things: no scruples, an accomplice and a human guinea pig. Scruples were never a problem. Marilia, the woman who looked after him from the day he was born, is his most faithful accomplice. And as for the human guinea pig… Loosely based on Thierry Jonquet’s 1995 novel “Mygale.”.

THE SKIN I LIVE IN is due in theaters on a limited release on October 14, 2011.

DEMONS NEVER DIE:

DEMONS NEVER DIE is directed by Arjun Rose and stars Robert Sheehan, Ashley Walters, Shanika Warren-Markland, Patrick Baladi, Morwenna Banks, Jack Doolan, Nick Nevern, and Femi Oyeniran.

Synopsis: The film follows eight very different London students with one deadly secret: they have all make a pact to end their lives together. However, a mysterious masked killer emerges from shadows to grant their death-wish in more terrifying fashion than they could ever have imagined. Misfit Archie, model Samantha, wide-boy Kenny, star pupil Ashleigh, conflicted Sachin, goth-girl Jasmine, and weakling James are all battling their own private demons, from eating disorders to lost parents. But as a much deadlier assailant hunts them down one by one, their quest for death becomes a desperate fight for their lives.

Can these friends survive long enough to discover what they have to live for? Or will their bleeding hearts be brutally slashed wide open?

DEMONS NEVER DIE does not have a US release date yet. We will keep you up to date when one has been set.

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 (FULL SEQUENCE):

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 (FULL SEQUENCE) is directed by Tom Six and stars an undisclosed cast.

Synopsis: The story of a man who becomes sexually obsessed with a DVD recording of the first film in the series, “The Human Centipede,” and uses sandpaper to pleasure himself whilst watching the film. He decides to create a “human centipede” of his own, this time comprised of twelve victims as opposed to the first film’s three.

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 (FULL SEQUENCE) is due in theaters on a limited release on October 7, 2011.
