Well the day has finally come, we finally get to see a non-bootleg version of the teaser for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. This ran before HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2 prints over the weekend, but now you can watch it online in HD right here. It’s true a lot of the teaser is comprised of footage from the previous films, but there’s some new stuff here and there. Notice the quick shot of Bane, which is supposed to be Tom Hardy… but I’m telling ya, those eyes belong to Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is supposed to be playing someone named “John Blake.” Let the conspiracy theories begin! And who the heck is that in the background of the last shot? Christian Bale returns for what is reportedly his last time as Bruce Wayne, Gary Oldman is back as Commissioner James Gordon, Nestor Carbonell as also back as Mayor Anthony Garcia, and Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine also reprise their roles as Lucius Fox and Alfred Pennyworth respectively. New to the cast (outside of Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt) are Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, Matthew Modine as “Nixon”, and Josh Pence as Young Ra’s Al Ghul. There’s also rumor we’ll see a cameo (possibly in flashback) of Liam Neeson once again playing Ra’s Al Ghul. Director Christopher Nolan hasn’t disappointed yet, so I’ve got high hopes for this one, also said to be his last for the franchise. Check out the teaser below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
