David Hasselhoff sinks his teeth into PIRANHA 3DD

If you’re like me (and for God’s sake in many ways I hope you’re not) you enjoyed the hell out of PIRANHA 3D.  It’s one of those guilty pleasure silly films that you just check your brain at the door and go along for the ride.  In fact most people I talked to seemed to have embraced it… and now, we’ve got a sequel to look forward to, which already has a heckuva cast attached to it.  But today, there’s rejoicing all around as the king of BAYWATCH throws his acting hat into the ring.  None other than David Hasselhoff (or as he’s known “The Hoff”) will be in PIRANHA 3DD, and I couldn’t be happier.  Christopher Lloyd and (somehow) Ving Rhames are returning from the first film, though no sign of Elizabeth Shue… maybe she got eaten?  Read the full press release below, and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

DAVID HASSELHOFF ROUNDS OUT CAST OF PIRANHA 3DD

Trading in the sandy beaches of “Baywatch” for terror at The Big Wet Water Park, Hasselhoff will face off with the flesh eating fish of PIRANHA 3DD.

A Dimension Films release, PIRANHA 3DD opens nationwide on November 23, 2011.
