WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER? trailer with Anna Faris and Chris Evans

While there are some actresses in Hollywood who just fail to interest me in much of anything, Anna Faris is one of those girls that I’ll gladly watch just about anytime. Whether she’s the lead in a film or a small supporting role, she adds a fun element, and has a definite screen presence I think we’ve yet to see reach its full potential. Her newest film is WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER?, which on the surface looks like a fairly familiar sex comedy, with the unexpected romantic subplot thrown in for good measure. It co-stars Chris Evans (CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER), and features a bevy of familiar faces in the cast, including Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Ari Graynor, Andy Samberg, Ed Begley Jr., Joel McHale, Thomas Lennon and Chris Pratt (who in reality is married to Faris). ComingSoon.net posted the trailer, which you can see below.  Granted, this appears to be pretty “chick flick” in nature, but as I said, there’s something about Faris… and I kind of have a man crush on Chris Evans, so I think I could fight through this, and probably enjoy it along the way.  Also, Ari Graynor is another face to watch out for.  She’s terrific in LUCKY, which should be hitting theaters soon, and has some of the most memorably funny scenes in NICK AND NORAH’S INFINITE PLAYLIST.  This new film is directed by ALI G INDANHOUSE‘s Mark Mylod, who is also repsonsible for ENTOURAGE and THE UNITED STATES OF TARA. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER? opens September 30.
