Seems movies based on books for kids are making a comeback. The DIARY OF A WIMPY KID franchise just saw its second outing, and now we’ve got a poster (above) and trailer for Relativity’s JUDY MOODY AND THE NOT BUMMER SUMMER. Hey, the title is pretty clever. Third-grader Judy Moody sets out to have the most thrilling summer of her life in this wild and wacky adventure. Based on the best-selling book by Megan McDonald, the film stars Heather Graham, Jordana Beatty, Parris Mosteller, and Jaleel White, and is directed by John Schultz. Granted, I’m much older than the intended audience for this, but I have to admit it looks kind of fun… and I do like me some Heather Graham. Check out the trailer below (courtesy of Yahoo) and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
